Black Friday

Black Friday is the biggest retail day of the year. And for those who work in the retail business, that means probably the most work your going to have to do for the year! haha. This Black Friday, we at FITTED dropped the infamous "Shave Ice Pack" It featured 6 tonal Kamehameha hats in 6 different colors that represented different shave ice flavors. We had Orange, Purple, Blue, Yellow, Pink, & Green. We also dropped a new tee dubbed "Ho Brah!" Along with the new releases we had $10 hats and $10 & $15 tees. Overall it was a good day, tiring, but nonetheless good. Thank you to all of those who came out and copped something!

Mmm..."Shave Ice"

"Ho Brah!"

If you have some sort of OCD, then this wasn't the place for you because all the shirts kept gettin' fucked up and we were kinda going crazy! lol

The 7.5 hour line where the 1st people started to line up at 7p.m. Thanksgiving night!

Thanksgiving this year was another good year spending it with friends whom I consider fam foreal foreal. The day started off with lunch over at Young Nae's spot. Then Dinner over at Young Sumo's house. We ended playing rock band and I must say that I think I should definitely be a lead singer in a band, but thats my opinion of course, haha. The night ended off at my house just chillen and bullshittin', you know, the usual.

You down with 3LP?!

Retreat weekend was a great weekend! Another successful retreat. It was a different experience for me observing it rather than really doing anything. But I still felt the Holy Spirit move through out myself, the staffers and the retreatants. Anthony & Drea, yall did a great job. To the rest of the heads & staff, great job as well. I will never forget that I'm down with 3LP! Enjoy some pics...

Tomorrow is retreat! Awakening #20, "Live, Love, Laugh & Pray" 3LP. I am excited for all those who are leading and staffing the retreat because there was a lot of hard work and there is always a lot of hard work that goes into making this retreat what it is. At the same time I am also sad because this will be my last retreat that I will be able to staff on. I am graduating in December so I won't be able to do it anymore, well, I wasn't even really to be on this one because I was Rector on the last one but Marge let me help out on this one and I am thankful and excited. I am also excited for the retreatants who will be attending this weekends retreat. I won't be blogging at all this weekend, so I ask all you or those of you who do read my blog to please pray for the success of this retreat. Peace & Blessing yall.

Change of Scenery

My Golden State Warriors beat the Clippers today. Some say, "big deal, its the Clips" but to me and probably every Warrior fan out there, it is a big deal. During the off-season, Baron Davis chose to sign with the Clippers bringing him back home to Los Angeles and Corey Maggette left the Clips and signed with the Warriors. So to say the least, it was a crazy off-season. But today was a big won for us, in all aspects.

Captain Jack dropped 20pts for the Ws while B-Diddy had 25 & 11 in a losing effort.

The Story of the night was undrafted rookie, Anthony Morrow, lighting the Clips up for 37pts. He went 4-5 from beyond the arc, 11 boards and 1 assist.

Maggette had 17pts against his former team.

Go Warriors! I still Believe!!

Recap

Sorry for the lack of updates but been super busy this past week. Well lets get started shall we...I'm real excited about this upcoming Awakening Retreat #20. Retreat always seems to come up around the right time or the time when you need it most, whether its to take a step back, re-evaluate your relationship with God, yourself, and others. So once again, Retreat is coming up at the right time for me. I say that because shit has been busy/crazy for me lately, just trying to finish school strong and graduate in December, workin' at FITTED, and I just started promoting with ShowOff HI, (shouts to my S.O. HI fam), but its not like I am complaining or anything, I love it, but its just going to be nice to take a weekend and chill, ya dig?! Overall, Life has been good, can't and shouldn't really complain. Everything is all good, and last night was a good night for me. So thats it with me for now, I gotta get reg for our FITTED softball game, we're going for our 3rd straight unbeaten week! And after that, come party with ya boys from ShowOff HI at Club Cirque in the Heart of Waikiki. Shit is gonna be bananas!! Promise!! Peace peace!

YES WE CAN...YES WE DID!

November 4th 2008 is the day where change has been made. Today the Barack Obama has been elected the next President of the United States of America. He is the first African-American President. America has come a long way. John McCain just did his speech after they found out that he had lost and I must say that McCain gave a good warm-hearted speech yet tough for him and his family at the same time. Many say this was John McCain at his best and while I haven't seen his best, I would definitely say this was John McCain as a leader and as a human being. I hope they both find a way to make America a better Country.

Blockbuster Trade...

The first blockbuster trade of the year has Allen Iverson going to the Pistons for Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess. This is a big trade because it brings A.I. back east and him teaming up with Sheed but we all thought A.I. and Melo were going to kill it but the Pistons will have a tough guard but whose going to need his shots a game. I'm interested to see how this turns out.

The Nuggets got a strong point guard in Billups and a decent big man to add more depth to the Nuggets bench. Both Billups and McDyess have already been on the Nuggets before. I am kind of worried because I am not too sure if this will bring problems for my Warriors, but shit, we got enough problems at the point guard spot that we have to resolve. Should be an interesting season.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween here in Hawaii is BANANAS!!! And thats to say the least. Waikiki is always packed no matter what day Halloween falls on. And since it fell on a Friday this year, the keys was dummy packed!! The traffic was nuts so me, Danak & my uncle (Afresh) walked from our house down to Waikiki. It was about a 20 minute walk from the house so it wasn't that bad. As soon as we hit the strip, it was crazy! Half naked people walking around, seen so many Borats, school girls, football players, just seen some mainey ass costumes in general. We checked out Monkey Bar at the Hyatt and then I went to check out Cirque to support the homies of SoHI. So I was pretty much going back and forth between those two places. Then I spent the rest of my night with good company...it was cool. I didn't even sleep yet! I walked home around 6:30ish this morning! Longest day of my life!!! But I am not complaining. Enjoy the pics!

Danak x Bobby Filipino x Afresh...you know we had to take one before we left the spot!

Danak didn't even drink yet and he gets in trouble with the police..lol, just playin'.

The line going into the Monkey Bar.

FITTED x Berceau x Huf...SF homies.

Another shot of that long ass line.

The madness inside...

Cirque was dummy packed as well...

Renzo gettin' his shine on...

Get'em!!! lol

Walking home at 6:30a.m....
